This year has been an amazing one for Dead Fish Handshake and 2012
promises to be even more special. It's official. We are excited to
announce that the follow up record to "Across State Lines" will be
produced by none other than Clint Lowery (of Sevendust, Hello
Demons Meet Skeletons)
We are happy to welcome him into the extended DFH family and look
forward to working together. Clint is the perfect man for the job
and we couldn't be more stoked to have him in the fold.
The best of DFH is yet to come and we hope you all are as excited
as we are. More news soon!

We've shared the stage with some really great bands, but what a
treat to play with HURT. Thank you all for taking part in such an
incredible night...closing out the Across State Lines tour in
incredible fashion. See you all again soon.

just added our final date of the Across State Lines Tour. While
we're excited to get back into the studio for some more recording,
this was just too good an opportunity to pass up. Being big fans
of the band HURT, we are excited to share the stage with them on
11.19.11 at Architekt Music in Butler, NJ. It will be a very
intimate stripped down acoustic show. Tickets are available

EP at this years Hoboken Music Awards. The awards ceremony will be
held at Maxwells in Hoboken, NJ on Saturday 11.12.11

well as record some songs that we've written in the last few

Out of concern for the concert-goers, staff and bands
traveling into the area, the DFH shows this Saturday at The
Watering Hole (Mays Landing) and The Boneyard (Atlantic City) have
been postponed due to the impending weather. We're as disappointed
as you all must be, but everyone's safety is the priority. More
details regarding a possible future date(s) will follow. Be safe
everyone!

So far, the Across State Lines Tour has boasted some pretty
memorable shows and incredible times. Well, we're excited to
announce that we'll be taking part in the Union County Musicfest
in Clark, NJ this year and sharing the bill with none other than
Ed Kowalczyk (formerly lead singer of Live) and Collective Soul. UC Musicfest is a free event and this year's lineup also includes:
Neon Trees, the legendary Paul Rodgers, Blondie,
Toad The Wet
Sprocket, the Smithereens, Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes and
more.
What a homecoming for us. We hope you can make it out, Friday,
September 16th.

A quick albeit important tidbit of news.
Quite possibly more than any other relationship, the upkeep of a band isn't
always the easiest thing to manage, as it requires balancing the many
personalities involved, both musical and otherwise. With that said, you should
know that Matt Biehl has decided to move on from Dead Fish Handshake. We wish
him the best and thank him for his time in DFH.
But the sun shines on...and we have every intention of plugging along.
So we'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that all currently
scheduled shows will go on as planned as we continue to look for the right fit
for the DFH sound.

Friends and fans,
While we promise that this is not intended to become habitual, we
unfortunately are not ready to play tomorrow night at El N Gee.
Last week, we cancelled our show due to a throat condition
experienced our vocalist, Matthew. He has been recovering with
hopes of not missing any future shows but hasn't fully healed.
Therefore, we have no other alternative but to postpone tomorrow
night's show in CT. We feel that a show delivered at less than
100% effort is unfair to all who attend. You certainly don't
deserve that.
We promise to reschedule a date in the area and apologize for the
late notice and inconvenience.
We hope to see you all very, very soon.
